Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description

The supply chain analyst will be responsible for ensuring the new channel of accessories that is available to customers is stocked at appropriate levels based on the data pulled from forecasting data, communicating and adjusting based on those projections. The role involves understanding the need, identifying concerns or issues with inventory, and working with suppliers and/or buyers to identify gaps. The analyst will monitor, track, and analyze product levels within Accessories, providing recommendations and information to assist with making changes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key interface between Purchasing and Custom Garage Operations & Planning Teams

• Ensure reorder points and buy positions in browser support the Custom Garage business and minimize backorders

• Provide a final package launch 'Go/No Go' to the operations team based on part availability in the warehouse and/or as inbound freight

• Ensure warehouse kitting is on time to support upfitter package orders and forecasted demand

• Ensure there are no space or logistical issues at the warehouse

• Manually monitor inventories (component, individual end items, kit inventories) to support the full cycle plan

• Ensure purchasing is following and acting upon the reorder points and buy positions in the browser

• Monitor custom garage orders vs. forecast to identify emerging issues and notify the operations team

• Work with the extended team to solicit input from dealers/FAD/regions as forecasting input for new packages

• Maintain a log/list of all items in all packages and details

• Develop a return part process in accordance with existing processes to support part returns in the event of vehicle damage or cancellation

• Ensure part packages are correctly labeled and include the vehicle VIN

• Document the various manual supply chain roles and lead the development of a more robust system that supports increasing packages and demand

• Work with the IT team to develop necessary reports for program status, part supply issues, trends, etc.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years experience in Supply Chain field

• Supply chain management

• Inventory management

• Data analysis

• Forecasting

• Supply chain analysis

• Strong data analysis skills

• Strong communication skills to work with internal & external stakeholders

• 5+ years inventory management, lead time, forecasting

• Completed Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Preferred
