Aston Carter Temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist in Bel Air, Maryland
Description:
The Account Receivable Assistant is responsible for supporting Management in all facets of the Finance Department with a primary focus on those activities related to the premium accounts receivable applications.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
•Perform various daily reconciliation duties to include prior day cash receipts and daily cash receipts
•Review daily Lockbox feed for items that require additional review; prepare correspondence for items to be returned to insureds
•Answer phone calls and emails from agents, insureds and co-workers related to billing matters such as reinstatement requests, payment receipt and account reconciliations
•Special tasks as assigned to include unclaimed property, quarterly premium tax filings, bank
reconciliations, collection referrals, A/P backup, and corporate credit card administration

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
•High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
•A.A. preferred
•One to three years related experience and/or training
WHO YOU ARE:
•Strong collaborating and customer service skills, and an ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
•Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; self-motivated and proactive
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to multitask, and be flexible with regards to workload and assignments
