We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Client Relations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in managing a high volume of customer orders, providing pricing and quotes, and resolving order-related issues. This role involves communicating clearly and professionally with customers via phone and email, utilizing multiple technology platforms, and coordinating with internal departments to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
Receive and validate orders from the company web-based system and send them to the QAD system.
Provide accurate pricing on orders and generate quotes.
Research and resolve issues with problematic orders to determine fault.
Answer the 1-800 customer inquiry phone line.
Coordinate with the production department to drop orders to the warehouse for shipping.
Handle less than 100 inbound calls per day.
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers via phone and email.
Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about product, pricing, and availability.
Work with internal departments to meet customers' needs.
Research and review customer-reported issues to resolve discrepancies.
Essential Skills
At least 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience.
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
Quick learner with consistent attention to detail.
Proficiency in adopting and utilizing multiple technology platforms.
Both people- and process-oriented.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (preferred but not required).
Excel experience (nice to have).
Work Environment
The Client Relations Specialist will work onsite in an office setting. The role requires a high degree of technology inclination and the ability to handle a significant volume of customer interactions.
