Job Description

Join our dynamic FCSD Purchasing team, where you will have a pivotal role in supporting the Chassis Department. You will be working under the guidance of the Purchasing Manager, engaging in key responsibilities such as data analysis, negotiating and communicating with suppliers, administrative reporting, and crafting presentations. The role calls for analyzing data from both internal and external sources, developing and executing strategic sourcing strategies, and managing supplier price change requests among other tasks. You will also be responsible for ensuring supplier adherence to global terms and conditions, resolving quality issues, and managing part sourcing and pricing issues.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Dearborn, Michigan and some days remote.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role requiring presence in one of the Hub Centers in Dearborn for 3 days a week. You will be part of a small team of 3-5 people, reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager. The dress code is business casual. Work hours are flexible, from 8-5, within core business hours of 9-3, Monday to Friday, for a 40-hour week with no overtime.
