Job Title: Industrial Project Manager

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee and ensure the successful coordination and completion of industrial trade projects within set deadlines, budgets, and scopes. You will handle all aspects of projects from quoting to completion, including managing deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and frequently monitoring progress. Your role involves preparing status reports for the leadership team and managing the development of business with our customer base. You will be responsible for managing projects encompassing mechanical systems, electrical systems, steel fabrication, and general construction for industrial usage.

Hard Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial/commercial trade industry

  • 2+ years experience in selling/estimating/closing deals in industrial construction

  • Experience with electrical/mechanical systems in sales or project oversight

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Docs, Salesforce, and Project Management Software

  • Experience in managing subcontractor work from quote to completion

  • Estimation skills

Soft Skills

  • Ability to understand and communicate proposals effectively

  • Capability to create estimates and manage customer relations

  • Strong organizational skills for scheduling resources and project kickoffs

  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with Department Managers, Superintendents, and Crew Leads

  • Proven track record in lead generation and business development

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Georgetown, Texas. (North of Austin)

Work Environment

The position involves a 70/30 onsite vs. remote work arrangement, managing and overseeing a crew of 8 to 12 people at a time. The role reports to the General Manager based in Chesterfield, MI.
