Job Title: Controller
Job Description
We are partnering with a leading local agricultural company to hire a Controller. This role involves hands-on leadership and oversight of a multi-entity accounting department. Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting and Finance, the Controller will work closely with the Assistant Controller and Division Managers to ensure accurate and timely reporting of accounting records.
• Daily maintenance of accounting records to ensure accuracy.
• Management and oversight of accounting sub department as assigned.
• Supervision of direct reports (as assigned) to ensure efficient operation of their departments and their staff.
• Assist in the preparation of budgetary and transactional accounting reports as needed by both Executive and Division management.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist in financial audits.
• Completion of special projects as assigned.
