Job Title: Staff AccountantJob Description

We are seeking an interim staff accountant to support a local construction firm. Responsibilities include daily reconciliation of all bank accounts, crediting invoices, recording all ACH, CC, and check payments, depositing checks, running customer credit cards for payment, maintaining and updating the cash sheet daily, and submitting it to the Finance Director at the end of every week. Additional duties involve obtaining lien waivers/SRR, assisting the Finance Director with multiple projects, aiding the Operations team, maintaining close communication with the Service Manager, assisting the APM, and managing various financial closing activities such as updating project and PM WIP schedules, sales tax tracking and payments, final reconciliation of the bank for the month, revenue accruals, tying out AR Aging and AR GL, updating inventory spreadsheets, and managing schedules for prepaids and fixed assets.
