Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Description
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting our customer service department with administrative and operational tasks. The role includes order entry, order confirmation, reviewing EDI orders and providing customers with pre and post-sales support via phone, chat, and email. When necessary, the Administrative Assistant will provide order status updates, shipping information, and track shipments. The role also includes authorizing return goods using approved procedures, determining product return or destruction, and ensuring proper re-stocking fees are applied. Other duties include entering commercial & hospitality job purchase orders, working with the warehouse for product shipment, and collaborating with the supply chain to confirm lead times and provide customers with open order reports. The Administrative Assistant will also assist the customer service department with data entry and minor reporting tasks.
Skills Required for Success
2+ years of administrative experience
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Work Environment
Hybrid- 2 days onsite and 3 days remote after training.
This position is onsite in a cubicle/office environment.
