Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Job Description

The quality control/quality assurance professional will ensure that products and processes meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Examine materials, equipment, and products for quality.

  • Establish and manage quality control systems.

  • Request to purchase chemicals.

  • Ensure that production methods comply with standards.

  • Compile data to support trending programs.

  • Provide support to the quality assurance team.

  • Prepare batch records and labels, as well as issue those batch records and labels.

  • Assist with audits.

  • Perform other tasks as needed.

  • Associate degree

  • Previous QA/QC experience

Work Environment

While performing duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, or airborne particles. The employee is regularly exposed to microbiological pathogens up to biological safety level 2 (BSL2). The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to cold conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work schedule is Friday to Sunday from 6am to 6:30pm onsite. Training is provided Monday to Friday for a month with flexible shifts. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gowns and hair nets are required when working with raw materials. No heavy lifting is required (25lbs-50lbs).
