Job Title: Finance Manager

Job Description

Lead in the implementation and integration of the finance and reporting requirements within the SAP platform. Assist in the development and design of SAP solutions tailored to finance needs. Develop IT requirements and instructions based on finance requirements. Lead and/or conduct user acceptance testing, provide insights and advice on options to fulfill finance requirements within SAP, and troubleshoot implementation issues. Serve as a key liaison between finance and technology stakeholders, assist in the integration of various accounting rules within SAP, and advise on necessary finance and IT controls during and post SAP implementation.

Must Have

  • Accounting certification (CA, CMA or CPA)

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance or Accounting

  • 4-6 years’ experience in public reporting for insurance/reinsurance companies

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP

  • Knowledge and experience with IFRS 17 and insurance accounting under GAAP

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in New York, New York and some days remote.

Work Environment

Hybrid, 3 days in-office, 2 days from home.
