Job Description:

  • Responsible for identifying purchasing needs, researching potential vendors, tracking orders, updating internal databases with order details, including dates, invoices, and discounts, conducting market research, evaluating vendor offers, and maintaining accurate records of invoices and contracts. Their role is essential in maintaining a fully stocked inventory and optimizing the procurement process for the organization.

  • Inputting of orders into Excel database systems

  • Daily use of Quickbooks for invoicing and payments

  • Prepare cost analyses

  • Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts

  • Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders

  • Liaise with purchasing and manufacturing staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks required

  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel (including VLOOKUP's)

  • Knowledge of market research

  • Solid organizational skills

  • Manufacturing or related industry experience/knowledge
