Job Title: Accounting Manager

Job Description

As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing the general accounting functions and overseeing the completion of ledger accounts and financial statements. Your role involves evaluating and making appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes to align with the organization's overall goals. You will rely on your extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, perform a variety of tasks, and lead and direct the work of others. A high degree of creativity and latitude is expected in this role. You will also engage in hands-on tasks such as reviewing and creating journal entries and preparing work papers.

Hard Skills

  • 7 years accounting/Finance experience

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP

  • SOX knowledge

  • Completion of ledger accounts

  • Ability to review/create journal entries

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Months).

This is a fully remote position.

Work Environment

This remote work position involves leading a team consisting of an Accounting Manager, three Accountants, and two open positions for Staff Accountants
