Job Title: Financial Analyst
Job Description
The main function of a financial analyst/auditor is to provide financial and audit analysis. A typical financial analyst/auditor is responsible for reviewing data for accuracy, identifying and resolving supplier overpayment situations, and ensuring contracts are updated to reflect accurate contract pricing.
Providing financial analysis for detailed and time-sensitive contract reviews and pricing issues
Determining the cause of pricing errors with the supply base
Driving closure of open cases and collection of overpayments, and providing internal or external financial analysis consultation
Preparing and analyzing data for display
Writing reports
Creating spreadsheets for audit analysis
Optimizing business plans
Reviewing and editing data
Interfacing with various levels to review audits
Monitoring and auditing reports for accuracy
Analyzing ad-hoc reports
Performing special studies
Assisting in training and development of other analysts
Coordinating financial activities
Leading project definition
Participating in the selection of new employees
