Job Title: Senior Tax AccountantJob Description
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for managing sales and use tax compliance, preparing month-end close adjustments, and assisting with sales and use tax audits. Your role includes performing and documenting technical research, maintaining exemption certificate compliance, identifying and resolving tax exposures, and responding to tax department inquiries. You will ensure the timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns and reconciliations, maintain exemption certificate software and tax determination applications, and assist with governmental sales and use tax audits. Additionally, you will review the initial determination of taxation on purchase invoices, perform reverse audits, advise on strategies for minimizing tax exposures, and stay updated on tax law changes.
Hard Skills
3+ years of sales and use tax experience
Bachelor in Accounting / Finance
Sales and use tax audit experience
